Mujeeb Ur Rahman re-signs with Brisbane Heat for BBL 11

 Mujeeb Ur Rahman will once again turn out for Brisbane Heat in the 2021-22 Big Bash League, the franchise confirmed on Tuesday (August 31). Mujeeb, who has already played thrice for the franchise, is currently ranked fifth in the T20I rankings among bowlers.

The 20-year-old was named Heat's player of the year in his very first season in the BBL and went on to pick up his first five-fer in T20 cricket last year in the tournament against Hobart Hurricanes. Overall, he has picked up 29 wickets in his BBL career at a stunning economy rate of 6.13.

    He is an amazing off break bowler who can change the game anytime. Great pick by Brisbane heat as they signed him for the 4th time. I believe that he will definitely deliver the best to the franchise. I hope he will be mentally strong and fit as Afghanistan is going through a tough time.  Commuters, cyclists and pedestrians have found rare common ground as they battle delays and difficult transport routes caused by the temporary closure of a key southside thoroughfare in Brisbane. Work on upgrading and extending the Buranda busway station to allow for the new Brisbane Metro has begun but meant Brisbane City Council has closed the eastbound lanes on busy O'Keefe Street between Carl Street and Gillingham Street.
