The hospital has long boasted "one of the best infection control programs" around, according to Mary-Louise McLaws, a professor of epidemiology at the University of New South Wales.

New measles case in Sydney after young man developed symptoms following a trip to South East Asia

A young Sydney man who recently returned from travelling around South East Asia has been diagnosed with measles and spent over a week visiting parts of the city while infectious.
