Powerball jackpot claimed by two Queenslanders and one NSW winner
A man from inner Brisbane and a Sydney dad have come forward as two of the three winners who will share the record-breaking $150 million Powerball jackpot.
The Brisbane man was the first to claim his $50 million slice of the winnings, calling the gaming organisation The Lott this morning after a sleepless night.
He repeatedly asked if it was him, and could not believe his luck.
"I am so incredibly overwhelmed," he said.
"I checked my ticket late last night after the draw.
"I've been wide awake ever since. I couldn't sleep at all.
"But I really didn't want to get my hopes up.
